43 y.o. male here. Just took my 7th injection of test cyp last Friday. (I take 160 mg a week) plus the doctor has me on dessicated thyroid and DHEA to boost a "sluggish thyroid" as he called it. I just got back my first bloodwork and I was very surprised by some of the numbers. My...
As I feared would happen, my creatinine and eGFR levels are getting worse while on even low doses of testosterone.
Creatinine 1.10 ML/MIN/1.73, 0.80-1.40
eGFR African American 93 ML/MIN/1.73, >60
eGFR non-African Amer 81 ML/MIN/1.73, >60
For the past 15 years my creatinine has been high. Usually the lab cut off is 1.33, and mine is over, up to 1.46. All other kidney labs (BUN) are normal. I have had 4 ultrasounds, all normal. I ve been to two kidney doctors and a Urologist. Found no causes. I ve had several urine tests...

I am concerned about BUN on last blood test and low BUN/Creatinine ratio. I...

The amount of blood the kidneys can make creatinine-free each...
