Long time lurker and reader. I've been on TRT for about 3 years and it's been a really good decision. I had to go through about 3 docs and a TRT clinic before I finally found a local MD that would allow me to use a dose that would actually help (and take my insurance). I figured I may as well go ahead and register. I've seen a few threads that I had some good info to throw in but I wasn't registered. Problem solved!

55 Yo male, Retired USN EOD and still in very good shape other than my jacked up back.

200 Mg Cyp a week (i actually split it into 100mg every 4th day, works well this way for me) If I go too high I'll knock it down to 160Mg per week until I feel like going up again.

No HCG, my current doctor is not willing to write a script. I used it when I was with the TRT clinic but they were rip off artists and of course wouldn't accept insurance. I wish to hell I could talk him in to it but I don't think that's going to happen. This town I live in is ass backward and I'm extremely limited to MD's that have any experience with TRT. Hell, I know more than my Dr does about it and watch out for myself with my blood work. I've found this to be true with everyone I've used. This is one of those things where I've found you have to educate yourself and take care of yourself because more times than not in my experience your Dr wont.

Anastrazole .25 mg or so as needed.

Anyway, glad I finally joined!

Thanks for joining EM!! We are glad you're here!!

Small towns, big towns, you will find Anytown, USA tends to have plenty of GP's that are not really in-tune with how to properly treat hormonal deficiencies.

Plenty of members here also go through Defy and Prime Body. Possibly, you might want to consider seeing a specialist?

I wish, there are none around that are willing to handle TRT. The Dr I see is a good guy and a good Dr but he just doesn't feel the need to read up on it I guess. He asked me if I minded seeing a local urologist and I didn't have a problem with it so I went and saw the guy. My doc was just covering his ass, no problems there. The Urologist was more knowledgeable but more of a PITA to see and he also wasn't willing to write an HCG script. I guess I'll just have to deal with squirrel nuts lol.

I was dealing with Spectrum out of Miami and it's just too expensive. I'm assuming Defy and Prime body are the same and don't accept Tricare Prime or any insurance as thats how most of these clinics make thier money (if I'm wrong let me know!). These clinics are great but I can't justify the cost when I'm paying about $13 a month for everything. I was paying around $250 a month through Spectrum. Maybe one day I'll figure something out. I asked spectrum if they would supply the HCG but they wouldn't. It may not have been legal either with the dual Dr thing but I don't know. I'm ok without it but it definitely made a difference with more than just testicle size.

Thanks for the welcome and good to be here! Always some good reading here.

Thanks guys! Appreciate it! No choice with the Gator, I was doomed at birth, parents, grandparents all attended there. Good school!

Welcome Navy, Many here get their HCG from overseas when they can't get it local from their doc, no script required. With a little digging on this site you will find several sources.
