Long Term TRT without HCG = Lowered Penis Sensitivity?

Title, TRT is a godsend for me in every aspect of my life except one.
I have noticed after being on 150mg/wk for several months my penis sensitivity lowers to nothing. Stopping all TRT injections for a few weeks and being on Clomid and Nolvadex my penis feels more sensitivity then ever. Is it possible that long term TRT without being on HCG can cause a loss of sensitivity in the penis?

On TRT even though I am much better at flirting with women when engaging intercourse I can go for hours without being able to orgasm. I have not orgasmed once from vaginal or oral intercourse once on TRT. Oddly enough I can orgasm when masturbating in 5-10 minutes.

According to this study LH may directly regulate penile tissue. Perhaps using HCG as an analogue can offset this loss of LH and correspending penile sensitivity.

In any case my doctor refuses to prescribe me HCG so it looks like I will have to come off TRT, at least for the time being.

I am only 25 so if I could get the input and personal experiences of some men who have been on TRT for years I would appreciate it. Looking up old threads it looks like Nelson Vergel and Vince both stated that HCG increased penile sensitivity, at least for them.

It's definitely a personal thing. Some guys see improvement with HCG, others get worse.

I have used testosterone for 26 years, with no loss of penile sensitivity. But when I added in HCG for fertility reasons, I definitely lost penile sensitivity, and all things sexual got much worse.

Personally, the only reason to use HCG that I can see is for fertility reasons. Other than that, using HCG at any level, from 100iu per day to 3000iu every other day, has only had negative effects for me. I'm going to drop HCG as soon as my wife has the baby, and never use it again.

Do you think the issue with HCG for you is E2 related? I’m very curious as to why HCG works for some and others feel god awful on it.

Some of our members get there HCG from overseas pharmacies. I know reliable RX sells it.
I've been getting all of my HCG from Empower Pharmacy through defy Medical.

Vince Carter recently mentioned this site.

Which country are you in? I'm in the UK and have a prescription for HCG but the one brand that's available (and through one company only) is rediculously over priced so I order online from a "steroid website". Like Vince said, a lot of people seem to use reliable Rx. HCG is readily available online.

Im not going to make lite of what you're saying by replying that it's all in your head but it is. The mind is a very powerful thing and if one way works and the other doesn't it's not going to get any better with XXX supplement or drug. May be your partner sucks. Honestly. Who hasn't been with some one with fantastic attributes that is a wet rag in bed. Just throwing that out there to why you could have this problem.

Agree with Vince. You are 25, and I know at that age I was overthinking everything. It was easy to overthink things for me in the 1970s by what I saw in magazines and in Penthouse Magazine Forum (am I the only guy who remembers that?). With porn and all the sexualized media, I would imagine a lot of 25 year olds have this problem of unrealistic expectations. Sex is a mutually engaged in activity between two people who care about each other and are exploring a part of themselves together. Over time it gets better and if the relationship grows, it can’t help but improve the sex. When you have the right partner and relationship, the sensitivity will be less of an issue guaranteed. Testosterone alone will not cure this. Vince Carter may seem a little harsh, but most of the human sexual response is driven from the mind and the thinking processes. If you go into sexual activity with a lot of chatter in your head - will she, will I, how long, is this ok, oh no, what am I feeling etc- it ain’t going to be good. Slow down and enjoy yourself and hopefully your partner. If you aren’t good enough for her, so what?

Consider what I am saying. I wasted my 20s sexually worrying about the same stuff. I was 30 when I stopped obsessing whether or not I was good enough. Today at almost 65, sex is better than ever. Same wife for 31 years, and if that doesn’t dull sensitivity, then nothing will. Work on a relationship, discuss and experiment with your partner what you both want, and enjoy one of life’s greatest pleasures.

I think hcg could play a small part in penis sensitivity reaching all those LH receptors. But, for me and I think most people, your estradiol levels control your sensitivity. It’s normally low estrogen that would lower your penis sentivity, but high estradiol can do it as well. Of course if your estradiol was high enough to where it lowered sensitivity, you’d probably be having ED issues as well. It could be all in your head, but it could be low E2.

Are you on an AI?

I've never posted to this forum but reading some of these replies made me so angry I feel compelled to do so.
First. IT ISN'T IN YOUR HEAD!!! Delayed ejaculation is the third most common male sexual dysfunction and though it isn't as common as PE or ED, it does exist and it is a PHYSICAL CONDITION, not a mental one.
I've been a hormonal freak for as long as I can remember, having been diagnosed with thyroid issues when I was 8 years old. Like many hypothyroid men, I suffer from delayed ejaculation. The first time I had intercourse I felt so little I believed the whole sex thing was a con. I had to fantasize to get off and I was a teenager. By the time I was in my 40's I could not climax from intercourse at all, often losing my erection while having sex because I could not feel anything. I blew a lot of money going to a sex therapist and not getting any results.
Currently, I take Synthroid, inject T and take an AI. I don't know if HCG has anything to do with it as I don't take HCG. However, it seems I get some help from taking Tribillus and Inositol. Perhaps a little help from sunflower lecithin, though I'm not sure. Also, as weird as it sounds, blood sugar plays a role as well. I often drink fruit juice prior to sexual activity and that helps a bit.
E2 seems to play a big part in climax intensity but not sensitivity. I've been on TRT for five years and did not notice any improvement in sensitivity from the T or taking an AI. The only things that seem to help are herbs and supplements.
Good luck!

I understand exactly what you’re saying. I’d have to agree with you for the most part. I’m not saying that what’s going on in our heads cant effect us, because it 100% can. But I just know that things that I’ve experienced throughout my TRT journey are not in my head, for the most part. I treat everyone how I would want to be treated, so I know that the last thing I would want is for someone to be telling me it’s in my head, so I would never do that to another person. It’s just the last thing one of us want to hear when we’re struggling.

My most recent example is with low E2. Ive been hooking up with the same girl, on and off, for a while. Usually when I get a BJ I have to fight the urge to finish. But my E2 was very low recently, and I just couldn’t finish for the life of me. Nothing in my life has really changed. No extra stress, been eating and exercising the same as I always do. I also just know myself extremely well. I know for a fact that it’s the low E2. Would hooking up with someone new, or someone that I’m more attracted to help the sensitivity and orgasm issue? Yes, i think it probably would to a very small degree. Maybe 25% at most. But I guarantee it’s at least 75% the low E2, if not more. So which one am I going to focus on correcting? Obviously the underlining problem. I view fixing the other issue like putting a bandaid on the situation. It’s always better to correct the main underlining problem.
