I feel like these labs should have restored all things. Estrogen still staying lower then I’d like with no AI.

I’ve been on TRT for 4 months now. E2 has been at just 3 before so 19 is progress although slow.

With my test level according to Nelson V 14-20/1 (T/E) ratio I should have E2 Around 50.

So. I’m contemplating adding Dhea. Switching To Prop or maybe even a compounded cyp/prop blend. Also thought about doing 1 injection a week to help make more E2

I wouldn’t be chasing numbers if I felt good. But Dealing with ED sucks balls
Any suggestions ?

Protocol
130 t cyp ( 2 x 65 weekly )
500 hcg ( 250 2 x weekly )
NP thyroid 1.5 grain

Your numbers look great to me. Ideal E2 is 20-30 pg/ml and you're basically there. Your DHEA is over the high range and IMHO you don't need more DHEA.

For many of us ED isn't resolved completely by balancing T+E via TRT. Try Viagra for scheduled sex and daily Tadalafil for unscheduled sex and also supplement with 3mg L-Citrullene twice a day.

Just the opposite...given your SHBG you likely have a level of Free Estrogen that is just as high as your Free T. I would add this test, "Estradiol, Free", to get a better look. Using only the E2 LC/MS/MS is akin to only using Total Testosterone and ignoring Free T...it's a small part of a larger picture. High E will give you the same ED symptom.
My SHBG is a bit lower than yours and I am doing my best with 1) free T not over the lab range, and, 2) my E2 in the single digits.

over the last several months. I’ve had E2 of 6.9 with T of 780. Things are better currently then they were then

Low E2 can damage your health, and in particular can cause long term damage to your bone density. The Doctors most often referred to in this forum manage patients according to the sensitive E2 test results, making sure not to lower their E2 too much.

If anyone here has references regarding serious Doctors protocols who are directing their TRT patients to maintain single digit E2 based on Free E2 tests I'd be happy if they could share examples here.

That’s been my main issue. My E2 started at 3. With T around 480. I was put on TRT to bring up total T in effort to raise E2

To add if you want to add some Estrogen what could be an easy way to to try do that is with the cheap OTC DHEA tablets from somewhere like Walmart, these could aromatase on pass thru the liver.

So your DHEA is that high without supplementing DHEA? That's awesome. Did you have your DHEA tested before using HCG? I'd be curious to hear if the HCG is why it is so good. That's off topic though.

In regards to your ED, Vince Carter is right in regards to the importance of getting your Free E2 tested. In the future, I believe free E2 will be the gold standard, just like free T is. I get my free E2 done every single time I get labs. Not getting it done is like getting just your total testosterone done and not your free T, in my opinion.

I'm not sure if lowering your E2 is the answer or not. Especially considering you report a slightly improvement now that your E2 is a little higher. You could try upping your HCG dose, if increasing E2 is what you're after.

Also, are you using anything to get such a high IGF-1 level? That level is higher than most men using pharmaceutical grade HGH.

Dhea was 600 prior to hcg. Oddly enough. No DHEA supplement. IGF I’m just as puzzled as you. It’s been that high last 3 labs. No clue how or why it’s so high
