The guidelines say between 8-12 will usually benefit from TRT, it suggests measuring SHBG to calculate free T.
Proper as in a venous sample not a capillary sample.
Trex90 - your low SHBG will mean you will metabolise exogenous testosterone quickly. Weekly injections of TE will not provide stable levels. I’d personally go with EOD injections of TE or consider trialling weekly injections of TU ?
We have access to the sensitive E2 test, but with the right protocol - Testosterone Enanthate & HCG, the LC-MS oestradiol test is rarely needed. We concentrate on qualitative changes and trends more than anything else, we use the quantitive numbers to confirm our suspicions...
Hi Retro,
We have access to the sensitive oestradiol test here at The Men's Health Clinic in Poole. It's a private CQC registered medical clinic that specialises in TRT.

It is correct that MSD have now ceased manufacture of Pregnyl, mainly because of its use in the grey market. They have replaced it with Ovitrelle 6500iu Pre-Filled Pen which is mainly used for fertility treatment. It costs £30+ per pen and is not really a practical option for you guys as you...
No problem. Making the tests readily available will only highlight what a massive problem low testosterone is.
So many men are unknowingly & unwittingly struggling with symptoms of low testosterone. Doctors here in the UK are slowly wising up to the issue but it is slow.
Help is out there...
