I have a quick question. I just gave blood at the red cross and my Hemoglobin was 17.7. I drank 32oz water 30 minutes before I went to give blood. Here is my question. Per my past blood draws at the doctors office, which you will see below, does this seems like an inaccurate measurement...
Does anyone know in TRT experienced doctors in the Nashville area. Been doing well on 100mg TRT weekly for a few years and now my PCP wants to cut me back to 50mg weekly. Any help will be appreciated.
Yea, it would be interesting..but I dont have time for that level of frequency. From what I see is the hematocrit for some of us is driven by level of testosterone and has a cumulative effect over time.
Hello,
I have been working with a really good doctor the last 6 months. One important thing the doctor told me is that some people who take TRT will always have high hematocrit no matter the frequency of injections unless the trough level is within a certain range. My experience over the last...
You know what is interesting, I have never felt better in my life while on the 50mg twice weekly. My hemaglobin is what is making me change and I really dont know what to do? Blood pressure is good in January.
These were one week post injection. "The day after" I inject was previous labs that were taken to see how I was responding, from a level standpoint, to the weekly injections.
Here are my new labs. 4/12/2017
Meds at time of labs..
Test Cyp - 50mg (1/2" 27 gauge) shoulder once weekly
Synthroid - 75mcg daily
Fish Oil - 6 grams daily
Any comments?
Will be increasing Test to 50mg once every 4 days. I hyper respond to injections. Injecting 100mg every 7 days I can...
I agree as I do 30-45 minutes 3-4 a week plus 5-6 days of strength training. I really think that platelets have a lot to do with increased risk. I take 6g of fish oil daily.
100mg / weekly worked for me but my trough was 500TT. 120mg a week got it to 650TT. You may wanna try 120mg, but...
I feel your pain. I just lowered my weekly dose to 80-90mg divided into 2 injections. I am convinced, but have no data to support, that when test levels remain high - hematocrit goes up. So far, 120mg weekly IM injected once weekly, has been the highest I could go without giving blood every 2...
I have read and read so many different opinions on when is trough day and when to take blood to measure your lowest level. If injecting once weekly when should I have my blood drawn? If injecting twice weekly when should I have my blood drawn?
I have heard on once weekly to draw the day of...
In 2 weeks, I will have full labs.
I have 3 thyroid nodules and thyroiditis that has been well controlled as I have my TSH <1. 0.5 - 1.0 is where my doctor wants me to be and it seems to be working. My FT3 and FT4 are really good right now. I have Thyroid Antibodies and the doctor believes...
